3D Tweetups at Sony Style Stores in San Diego and Los Angeles

Curious about 3D home entertainment? We’re giving people a chance to take Sony 3D TVs for a spin before they are actually available to buy, and we’re doing it in our comfortable and tricked out living room setups at the Sony Style stores. That means you can sit on a comfy sofa, beverage in hand and watch 3D movies and sports and even see PlayStation games. This week Sony is hosting 3D tweetups; one in San Diego and the other in Los Angeles.  If you’re in either city, we’d love to see you there. 

Besides being able to try Sony 3D products, you’ll get a chance to talk to experts to see what’s required to have a Sony 3D setup in your home...

Your Party Photographer: The Party-shot™ personal photographer

Last week, one of my favorite little Sony devices was featured on “The Today Show” segment called Jill’s Fun Finds. It’s the Party-shot personal photographer, an innovative little camera dock that pans, tilts, adjusts composition and takes pictures for you. That means, while you play social butterfly, people at your event or party will be captured in pictures without you having to hire or be the party photographer.

New Sony Cameras Unveiled at PMA

At the Photo Marketing Association International Convention in Anaheim, California—THE event for digital camera enthusiasts –Sony introduced new and future digital imaging innovations to a standing room only crowd at our press conference. The highlight was the demonstration of the Cyber-shot TX5 which is certified waterproof, dirt proof and freeze proof. To prove it we set up an ice block, a simulated dirt storm and a fish tank of water (complete with plastic piranha) and put the TX5 through its paces.

New Sony Cybershot Cameras

It’s a busy week for Sony’s Digital Imaging team. We announced two new Cyber-shot® digital still cameras and starting this Sunday we will be at the Photo Marketing Association conference in the Anaheim Convention Center presenting the entire line of 2010 Sony cameras, camcorders, printers, and accessories.
